About
I make small useful things and try to think clearly.
I’m a maker, a quiet writer, and a long-time enthusiast of the unfashionable parts of the web. I like work that is patient — the kind that gets a little better each pass and isn’t in a hurry to be seen.
This site is where I leave the small things I make — notes, sketches, reading lists, occasional essays. There’s no schedule. It updates when something is ready.
Approach
I try to make things that feel intentional — clean writing, careful spacing, restrained color, and as little ceremony as possible. The best work is often the work that doesn’t announce itself.
When I get stuck I take a walk, read something old, or talk to a friend who isn’t in the same field. Most problems are smaller than they look from the inside.
Values
A few things I keep coming back to.
01 Quiet over loud.
Restraint is a form of respect — for the reader, for the work, and for whatever else is on their screen that day.
02 Clear over clever.
Plain words win. If you can’t say it to a kind stranger over coffee, it isn’t finished yet.
03 Slow over rushed.
A good idea waits a few nights. Most things look different in the morning, and the ones that don’t are usually the right ones.
04 Small over grand.
I’d rather finish a little thing than half-finish a big one. Small, complete pieces tend to be the ones that last.
