Every bug report should come with a one-click repro

The slowest part of fixing a bug is often not the fix. It is getting a site into the state where the bug shows up.

Two links per bug

When I report a bug, I attach two WordPress Playground links. The first opens the released build with the setup already done, so anyone can see the bug in seconds. The second opens the build from the pull request, so the fix can be checked the same way.

Why it works

  • Testers skip the setup and go straight to checking.
  • Developers see exactly what the reporter saw.
  • Nobody argues about whether a bug is real.

The blueprints live in themeisle-qa-launchpad on GitHub.
